A Beautiful Spring Day

Temperatures were warm and wonderful. Cut wood from the left over timber harvest and felled a pine tree that had it's top removed. The pine tree top was damaged during the harvest like so many others that will become firewood for next winter. Stacked the older seasoned wood and let the new lay in the sun.
Nature was certainly full of golden red today. Is that because of Aries and Leo? This morning witnessed 4 deer running for their lives. Shortly afterward saw a flash of red, then heard a bell and saw a German Shepard running down the same path as the deer. Assuming it was that nasty pack of dogs that get together and terrorize the wildlife.
Upon needing a glass of water and a sit down was distracted by a reddish flash outside, a red tail hawk had landed in the pine tree across from the house. It was very entertaining for much of the early afternoon. Binoculars were definitely used in the viewing of the magnificent creature. While viewing the hawk for another time which turned out to be the last, witnessed it take of in a golden reddish flight.
