Spent most of the morning chain sawing dead oak branches along with cedar and pine. During the December snow storms many oak branches fell from the trees, starting the season for collecting wood for next winter. It has been another glorious day with the temperature at 10:00 a.m. at 72*F. I am not sure the groundhog was correct yesterday. Phil must be on something here at Fairview. Though winter is expected to return on Thursday and Friday with rain and lower temperature. Maybe snow in the mountains?
By 2:00 p.m. the temperature was 78* F. as the high for today. Finished cutting the pine branches around the house. Will probably finish the job of cutting the cedar tomorrow and that will be it for around the dwelling.
