Nesting

The last couple of days have been weeding the garden of the horrendous berry vines and anything else that is shading or interrupting the growth of the snow peas. Today managed to plant some large flower-head Marigold plants. Kept thinning the apples in the orchard. When reaching for some apples to thin, heard a scream and out popped a mother robin that was sitting on her nest. This year have only noticed one nest, however; that may change when it is time to prune the trees in the winter. The nest is holding 3 beautiful eggs. Promised not to disturb them until there is sound coming from that location and certainly will be back with camera in hand.
